Merry Christmas 2023 from Lifeway Church!
Merry Christmas - Jesus is Lord!!
This year we wanted to do something different for our church for Christmas. We wanted to sow an eternal seed of living FAITH in each person in our Lifeway family! So we have partnered with DWELL APP to provide the premiere Audio Bible App exclusively to each Lifeway member.
In order to do this we as a church are on a "Church Plan" that we pay on a deep discounted monthly payment. (Lifeway Church pays for this - you do not) This is where we are sowing tools of faith into the hands of each member so that we can grow and put the Word of God first place in our lives!
Pastor Sheila and I are believing that this will be another transformational step of growth in Lifeway in the year of 2024!
We want you to receive this gift in faith and add your faith with ours that this technological tool will help us to "give attention to His Word" - Proverbs 4:20 - Better yet, "Listen carefully to My words. Don't lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart." (Ears, eyes and heart)
This tool is only as good as you; 1. know where it is located and 2. use it daily! The written word of God does no good gathering dust "on a shelf " or even in an APP on your phone that you "never access". (Our prayer is that you use DWELL more than Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram or all other apps combined)
I have been using it now for a couple of years and found it to be very customizable. You can change the version of the Bible, the narrator's voice, the background music or sound, the rate of play, and a number of other things.
We have already uploaded a "Lifeway Church 2024 Daily Reading Plan" and will be loading a playlist of the scriptures that is used for each Sunday's message so that we can all give attention the word of God. The Lord works powerfully for a local church that is established firm on His word, alone!!
There is so much more to say about this step of faith for us at Lifeway! And we will say more and more about it as we move into 2024.
