Fighting Words - What Jesus is Saying to His Army

We are the Body of Christ but at the same time we are the Army of God. And since we are His Army, He is our Commander...and we are in the middle of a war. How do the words of a Commander affect the Army in the middle of the war? Jesus is directing His troops in battle with His words. Do we hear His voice? Are we listening to what He is saying? Will we take His correction and obey His instructions?
