Faith Love Connection

Is there a connection between faith and love? How close is that connection, and what happens when we violate either principle? The word of God declares, "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." Walking in love is necessary to moving mountains.
