If Jesus prioritized prayer as His first thing in the morning, we should do the same.

Mark 1:35 (NIV) Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Do you want to follow Jesus?

Then we must follow Him in the morning when He woke up before dark and went to prayer to connect with His Heavenly Father. He knew that the daily power that He needed came from time spend in prayer.

Followers of Jesus will have the prayer habits of Jesus.

When we pray first we can expect things to go better than they would have if we had not prayed. Prayer changes us and our expectancy. It powers us up with God's strength to win!

Praying first resets our priorities and puts God first!
