The language of God is faith and the language of the devil is fear.
Words matter and what you are continually listening to will rule you. Continue to listen to the voice of the Lord and His word and you will grow in faith, confidence and strength. Continue to listen to the voice of the devil and you will grow in fear, confusion and doubt.
Your ears are attached to your heart. Don't allow garbage in your ears and fear will not be able to control your heart.
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” (Luke 21:25–26, NKJV)
People's hearts are failing them from fear. One version says it like this, "The hearts of men will give up because of being afraid of what is coming on the earth". Another version says it like this,"People will be so afraid they will faint, wondering what is happening to the world".
Fear paralyzes and stops people from doing anything. Fear is a weapon of the enemy used to get people to surrender and give up.
There is an all out effort to fill the hearts of people with fear by using the "mainstream media news". This is part of the propaganda machine of the spirit of the antichrist in the earth today. We need to recognize this and turn to God's word.
Tune out the fear and turn to God's word.
Turning to God's word is the antidote to this deadly fear virus that is covering the earth.
Put God's word in your eyes, ears, mouth and heart to inoculate yourself against the all out assault of fear coming from the enemy.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. 1 Tim. 1:7 AMP
At all times we must use sound judgement and be disciplined enough to feed our faith and starve doubt and fear. Use self-control and pay more attention to the things of God than what is happening in the world.
Say this:
I open the door to faith and shut the door to fear. I pay attention to the words of God and I am filled with faith every minute of every day. I have hidden the words of God in my heart and He gives me a spirit of power, love and sound mind.
Pray this:
Lord, Thank you for the power of your word working in me. Thank you for continually reminding me of all that you have spoken to me. By faith I receive your peace that passes all understanding and it guards my heart and mind. You are my strong tower and my refuge, my God in whom I trust. Use me today to show all those around me that your faith in me is greater than all the fear around me. In Jesus Name, amen!
