Lifeway Church in Dacula, GA | Sundays 10 AM

Day 17 - The Touch of Faith

We are praying for you and believing that God is speaking to you and working on the inside of you during these 21 days.

We are super excited about all the God is wanting to do this year through Lifeway Church. We were expecting the best and that is why we are going through this reset. We need to get rid of the past prepare for the new and expect the best so this week we are focusing on how to expect the best.

One of my most favorite accounts in the Bible about someone expecting the best has to be the woman with the issue of blood. Let's go to the scripture and see how she expected the best. Look at Mark chapter 5. The account begins in Mark 5:25 and goes to verse 34… It is only nine versus in the Bible, but it's so powerful.

The woman had been sick for 12 years and was about to die. She knew that her only hope was Jesus because she heard that He was healing people. When this woman heard that Jesus was healing other people of their disease, faith came to her heart for her to be healed.

She believed in her heart that she could be healed.

I want to point out verse 27 and 28. “When she heard about Jesus, she came from behind him in the crowd and touched his garment for she said if I only may touch his clothes I shall be made well.” She said this statement with her mouth if I can touch his clothes, I know I will be made whole.

Your mouth and your heart have to be involved. This is faith working and faith expects the best.

How do we know if we're in faith? …If we are expecting the best.

How can we tell if we're not in faith? …If we are not expecting the best. Or if we are worried about the worst.

People often say “what is the worst case scenario?” Personally, I don't want to know what the worst case scenario is because I choose to believe God and expect the best.

This is the year of bold faith. This is the year that we need to expect the best regardless of what we see or hear in the news or on the Internet or from our friends and family.

We must determine that we are people of faith and that we overcome every challenge by faith in the word of God.

God has not brought you this far to disappoint you now.

The good work that He began in your life, He will finish as long as you continue to steadfastly trust in Him.

We have to be as determined as the woman with the issue of blood, that whatever we need from the Lord we receive by faith.

If you need healing today, reach out and touch the word of God and receive your healing by faith.

Jesus has paid for it. It belongs to you, so take your healing in, Jesus name.
“Rise up take your bed and walk!” This is what Jesus said.
I say, “stand up, put on the armor and fight the enemy with the power of God.

You're a winner, you can do it, God is for you!

Have an awesome day.
