Mark 5:25–30 (NKJV)
Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
The woman with the issue of blood didn't wait for Jesus to come to her, she went to Him. Aggressive faith is not passively waiting to determine, "Is it the will of God, or not?" No! The woman heard about Jesus healing other people and said, "I'll take my healing too!"
She searched out Jesus, found Him and pursued her healing. She risked being stoned to death. She disobeyed the religious laws of the day to take her healing. She believed and acted on her belief that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus garment she would be free of the bondage of sickness that plagued her for 12 years.
She received her miracle because of her bold faith. Jesus said so when He said, "Daughter, your faith has made you whole." Her faith and the miraculous power of God intersected paths that day. She went to the last physician that she ever needed when she went to Great Physician, Jesus.
Activate your faith today and believe that God is still the God of miracles! He has a miracle for you. Reach out by faith and take it! Be bold and watch the power of God work in your situation. All things are possible to them that believe. Believe and receive.
Challenge:
Read Mark 5:21-43 five times today. Stir your faith up in the miracle working power of God.
Say this:
I press through the crowd with my faith and touch the power and the presence of God. I receive all that I have need of from Him. Nothing will stop me from taking what God has for me. I have bold and aggressive faith. I believe God and nothing is impossible.
Pray this:
"Lord, Thank you for revealing to me through your Word that faith is key in receiving miracles from You. I focus on You and not the crowd of people around me. I am following You with all of my heart and receive all that You have for me today. In Jesus Name!"
