We have been given supernatural armor to win the spiritual battles that we face each day.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—” (Ephesians 6:10–18, NKJV)
The whole purpose of putting on the armor of God is so that we can: 1. resist the enemy and 2. stand in the victory that Jesus has already won!
We resist the enemy in the "battlefield of the mind". In this battle, Satan throws fiery darts (lies, confusion and deception) at our minds in the form of thoughts. His purpose is to get us to doubt God and ultimately disobey God and rebel against God.
Resisting the enemy happens when we recognize a weapon that has been launched against us, capture it with our shield of faith and cast it down with the word of God (our sword of the spirit).
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. - James 4:7 NKJV
By putting on our armor daily we are submitting to God daily.
We cannot effectively resist the devil if we haven't first submitted to God. The power for resisting the devil comes from our choice to submit to God.
Becoming proficient at resisting the devil comes from filling ourselves with the word of God so that we are able to take captive every strange thought that comes our way and pull down any strongholds that have been built in our minds in the past.
Take time today to arm yourself with the armor of God. Spend time in the word of God and meditate on all that God says about you. Find out from God's word who you are in Christ and what you have because of Christ and as you do you are building your shield of faith.
Pray this: Lord, thank you for providing me with everything I need to successfully stand against each and every attack the devil tries to bring against my life! Thank You for equipping me with all of spiritual weapons that I need to be victorious. With Your power and the weapons You have provided for me, I am equipped with everything I need to resist the enemy and drive him out of my way and out of my life! In Jesus Name!

Great message. We have been Everything we need for life and godliness as well as the weapons and Armour we need to win every battle. Our job now is to be conscious (aware) of the fact that we are over comers and the victory is ours.
Thanks Pastor Bruce
